Mariajose hopes to spend her next spring semester in Rome with the School of Education teaching Italian children and gaining valuable teaching experience that complements her specialty.

Amelia developed an interest in science during her high school years and opted for optional subjects such as microbiology. She also wrote research articles for her school's scientific journal.
Lara Albrechcinski was born and raised in New Jersey and attended Wardlaw-Hartridge School, a small private school located in Edison, from preschool through 12th grade. Christopher, an aspiring doctor, has applied the critical thinking skills he learned in his honors courses at a hospital as a volunteer and knows that these skills will stay with him. Gianelli also teaches courses in the logic and philosophy of physical science within the Honors Program. In high school, Lara found a passion for volleyball and became captain of her team two years in a row.
When selecting a university, Lara was looking for the same strong sense of community and diversity that her school had, and she found it at St. John's University. She then began her career in the legal field, possibly as a wills and probate lawyer. Lara was vice-president of the STEM Society in her high school and helped organize the annual Science Fair.
