23rd Annual Kids Ocean Day Adopt-A-Beach Clean-Up
Over 4,000 kids, teachers, parents, and volunteers from 32 schools spent the morning cleaning the beach, sorting through trash, and forming a large kid-driven seascape of SEA CREATURES & BUBBLES, on the sand. A LITTER-FREE OCEAN is the global ocean protection message of the 23rd annual Kids Ocean Day Adopt-A-Beach Clean-Up, by reducing litter and the everyday trash and plastic that flows down the city streets, killing marine life and polluting food resources. Organized by the Malibu Foundation, City of Los Angeles, Keep LA Beautiful, California Coastal Conservancy and the California Coastal Commission.
